Seeking to document moments of life reflecting its truth in a fraction of a second is a humbling responsibility. For moments in life are fleeting, but also truthful reflections of the sum total of life.

From seeing these moments in others we may learn something about ourselves and better understand those around us.

The beauty around us is found in the smallest of things like the petal of a flower or the face of a kitten and in the boundless expanses as vast as a star-filled sky or as simple as a field of corn.

I explore my imagination in natural surroundings, altering them to my vision, or creating them in a studio. Each of us sees something different as we view the stillness of a photograph, its only movement being in the heart and mind of the beholder.
